Dara Village School will provide an accommodating environment to meet the learning, social and emotional needs of children and teenagers who are gifted, including those who are gifted with a learning disability. The school will ensure gifted children have a safe, fun and challenging environment where they can grow and learn. It will be a co-educational, non-denomination community school, which is eco-friendly, and develops partnerships with the local community.
To ensure that gifted children have a challenging and meaningful educational environment that optimises their learning needs.
The mission of the Dara Village School is to recognise the affective strengths and needs of all gifted learners, to support their growth, and to cultivate, lead and inspire world-class innovative thinkers and expert communicators through a focus on the relationship between educator and student – built around challenging, meaningful and engaging curriculum.
We wish for our students to grow into adults who have integrity, strive for excellence, and are empowered with a sense of purpose and optimism for the future.
